hi, all at HT,
I am looking to book a holiday next year to Tunisia not been before have 3 children aged 16,13,10 i have read loads of hotel and holiday reviews and just dont know where to begin , i was considering the Marhaba Salem in Sousse or the Sol kantoui in PEK but i have also read that the Marhaba Club in Sousse is apparently lovely, basically i would just like someone to give me some advice on where to go if any of you guys can help i would really appreciate it and any recommendations would be greatly appreciated! (looking for something quite lively ie, entertainment for the kids and beach quite close as if they are amused i can relax oh also daytime activities as my kids will try anything!!!!)

Just came back form PEK at 4*hotel Kanta 2 weeks halfboard, Read really nice reviews on various websites and found it really lived up to them. Found it abolutely fantastic . Ideal location, staff great, minutes walk to marina, food very good, rooms spacious and spotlessly clean. Entertainemnt every night, belly dancers, African night, Indian night, Karoke etc.. Train called TUK TUK to beach every five minutes outside hotel (Tuk tuk is great experiance in itself )
The best thing about this hotel has to be the beautiful gardens and huge pools. Always loads of sunloungers on both pool and beach. Good thing as some other people from other hotels in the area found sun loungers a real battle (getting up at 6 am to reserve them ). There is also self catering which is apparently great for famillies or bigger groups.
We ll be back I met people who ve been there 7 times and still love it! In fact one of my friends I met there has booked for June 2007
PS On sahara trip met people who stayed in Sol Kantoui and they found it really good. and if you are looking for A/I Abou soufiane seemed really popular with good food!!!
