Thanks for the update. The last time I looked at Google Earth they hadn't mapped any of North Goa to much accuracy. Still limited mapping at Baga River / Arpora.

Yeah not bad now a lot better than what it was before.

Thats spooky hubby rang me at lunch time to tell me to look at Google earth because he is looking at Goa.

Looks like the images are new so the trees and plants are covering most things.

I found the CSM complex and looked just North from there, hard to pinpoint as you said.

Cant wait for real Goa- the North to come on

Yes using the free version and in directx mode.

If you are searching for candolim it wont find anything, you need to enter india as an address and then go down the coast to goa.

So far found the prazeres hotel, the prison, the diamond dealers house and the governers house complete with heli pad various bars that we go in and the barbers we attand near the roundabout in calangute

Dunno how long ago the pictures were taken, could have been a while ago thouhg as the airport doesnt seem to show any of the new buildings etc and no sign of any building work going on.

Its obviously during the season though as the shacks are up and theres people on the beach etc.

if you go to 15-33-21-60N and 73-45-07-25E that should give you the co-ordinates for Mambos.....

I think it is from the previous season...
The shack I'm using, Fransiscos was moved down closer to the sea this season 05/06 and on this picture it seems to be on the place it was 04/05.
Fransiscos is a couple of 100 meters south of Bobbys.
And I am certain it was more shacks in the area this year then the picture shows.
And the big building that is constructed opposite "Taste of China" does not seem to be there.

But I've been wrong before...

I uninstalled and reinstalled Google Earth, and its now running ok. Found the River Princess, Bobby's Shack and the Dona Alcina. A very happy bunny.

Looks like there has been another update. More of north Goa is now visible. I can clearly make out the box bridge at Baga, the Marinha Dourada, Sun Village etc.

looks like the whole of the south is on there now as well.
