Hi, i was just wondering about the boat trips that you can go on in Egypt.
Do they overcrowd the boats? We went on a boat trip in Greece and it was a huge thing, when we stopped to get off and have a swim in the sea there was a lot of pushing and shoving. My son who isn't a fantastically strong swimmer couldn't get back on to the boat because of all the people jumping into the water. This has made him very nervous.
On the other hand when we went to Turkey a while ago the boat trip was lovely and relaxed, the boat was smaller, with about 20 people on board.
I would love to go on a boat trip so if anyone could give me some information i would be grateful.
Thanks Elaine
Most of the boats go for diving and snorkelling and don't appear overcrowded some have as few as 12 on board
We went on a snorkelling trip from CSR and it was just the right amount of people for the boat. Loads of room to sunbathe, but enough people to socialise if you know what I mean! My daughtres aged 12 and 15 really enjoyed it...and lunch was cooked on board and was great!
in sharm the snorkelling trips are going normally in big boats like 30 or 35 metres tall & according to the permittions of departing from the port it carrys only from 25 to 30 pax,it is ok as these boats are 2 floors, and around here in sharm the stops that the snorkeeling boat are doing are 3 stops & normally they aren`t crowded i mean any person can swim freely ...
best regards
We have only 8 in total on ours, it was fabulous. We were the overspill from another over-crowded boat, guess we got lucky that day!
