Hi
I know we will have to eat but are there things to do in Ixia at night.
Thanks
Anne
Rhodes Town is just a short journey away and if you're like me you'll never tire of walking round the charming old town in the evenings. And i think you're there during Kremasti Festival so that's just a short journey in the opposite direction and a good place to spend an evening.
Thanks this is quite a diffrent holiday for me and I am not as confident now getting mixed reports about the hotel The Pine Trees and worried we wont be able to get a late check out as it is so small. Kind of going into panick mode can't imagine what its going to be like and I get bored if I am not doing things can't really do the sittig by the pool thing.
I wouldn't worry i'm sure you'll have a fine holiday. Pine Trees isn't a luxury hotel but nice, clean and friendly, can't see you having a problem with it.
As i said there's not a great deal to do in Ixia but that doesn't mean you'll be bored you've got great transport links into Rhodes Town and from there anywhere on the island.
You're right it is only a small hotel but if the worst comes to the worst and they can't do a late departure you could do what i've done before and book somewhere locally for 1 night. Your Rep or the owners of Pine Trees may even be able to suggest somewhere.
I agree, there is very little to do in Ixia itself. Its a nice little 'town' but very quiet day and night, well apart from the traffic on the main road. There are loads of Restuarants, and a few shops here and there etc, but for a more 'lively' evening, Rhodes Town is only a short taxi ride away and well worth a visit.
Sure it will be good just a bit diffrent
