Hello
I am from Ireland & will be looking to change Euros, would I be better bringing Euros with me & changing them whan I get there or should I bring cypriot pounds - help going to protaras & staying in the rising star in 6 weeks time can't wait.
I suggest you bring Euros & Cyprus Pounds. Just enough Cyprus Pounds to keep you going until you can find a bank.
Do not change Euros (or any other currency) in a hotel - use the Bank of Cyprus or the Laiki Bank.
Regards,
Hi you can change your Euros no problem, we used the chemist on the main street of Protaras just near the Ghetto Bar we always got a better exhange rate than the banks and he does not take commision.
So what you are saying is I would fair out better changing my Euros in Cyprus than in Ireland.
