Hi Ray.P, I returned last Monday from 2 weeks in Gumbet and had the time of my life out there. The weather was gorgeous, had been mid-high 30s for the 2 weeks but the day we left it was 40 which i think might have been a bit too hot for me as you dont want to do much when its so hot! Best I saw the exchange rate out there was 2.88 so not quite hitting the 3TL yet! I didnt get round to doin the Kos trip as money was running low, but the price I found it for was £20, not sure if that was on the Seacat or not, sorry.

Its the nicest place ive ever been on holiday, made so many friends and cant wait to return next year!

Hi Ali, Thanks for your response. I've been checking the forecast online and it's going to be in the high 30's at the weekend. We've been in Turkey (Marmaris) when it hit 40!
That was a bit too hot, but still that's what we go for!

Glad you enjoyed Gumbet, we've been twice before but last time was 6 years ago, but we've been to Turkey many times in between, we really like it, the people, the food and nightlife.... all (usually) make for a great holiday. Four of us going on Friday, I finish work on Wednesday, so counting down now.

We hope to do the Seacat to Kos trip, we'll ask around for prices before we book it.

P.S. I got Ex rate of 2.95 TL to £ last Friday in Newcastle, so not a bad deal.
