Hi All, we are of to Rhodes Town very soon and we were wondering which are the best travellers cheques to take Euro's or Sterling ?, as you can see from my avatar and on line name we mainly travel to Malta, I have a bank account in Malta so using travellers cheques is never an issue to me so hence the need to know, also, where is one likely to get the better exchange rate hotels or banks ?, I'm presuming that there are numerous ATM'S in Rhodes Town, if so does anyone have ant advice about which local bank to use that isn't to hard on commision if you use your uk cash cards ?, all help appreciated.

money in Greece is about the same everywhere you normally get a better rate for sterling than in this country, for ATM machines use the ATM finder on page 1 of the ATM thread in general enquiries using Greece for the country and Rhodes for the town

Hi Wizard, many thanks for your help with this, yes I feel a bit of a refugee in other forums after many years of posting in Malta and Gozo forums, the change was that significant I thought I was going to get a nose bleed at one stage
