I wouldnt worry too much about losing your room if your flight is 6am. Friends we met there were picked up at 3.30am in the morning for a 6.30am flight and they had their room till they left (ie. went to bed then got a very early morning call!). They weren't the only ones that did that either cos we a couple more families on the same pick up.
You perhaps need to check with your travel agent?
They arrived on the Monday afternoon about 4.30pm then got picked up at 3.30am on the Monday two weeks later.
Hope this helps?

Which trips would anyone recommend? I have 2 children, 9 and 5. Thanks.
Do you need to prebook Wavelength or do you do that there?
I am really looking foward to going, sooooooo excited.
Thanks for the photos and info.

Did they have to pay extra for the room until the early hours? I think it might be different for our flight times, we arrive at the hotel at about 7am on the Friday morning and don't get picked up until about 3am on the Friday morning two weeks later. I have booked a late checkout with FC, but that only lasts until 6pm. I think I will try to extend it at the hotel because I don't really want to be hanging around until 3am with the children!! Not a great end to a holiday!!

Are the slides just for the use of children or can adults also use them :pele.
Also are they supervised by staff.
Such a lot of questions again
They didn't pay anything for late checkout. You obviously need to decide whats best for you but the reception area of the hotel is very spacious and I'm sure you could find a quiet corner for the children to bed down until pick up time. If I were you I'd just make the most of the last night entertainment, have a couple of drinks and stay up late. The children will sleep on the plane (and so will you no doubt). I wouldn't let the times ruin the holiday but instead I'd turn it into an extra day/night and have as much fun as possible. There'll be plenty of other people milling around to chat to as well and the main restaurant is open for "late night munchies" until 1.30am so you could always get a bite to eat and a coffee to pass another hour or two before the coach comes. Time will soon pass. You can use the hotel facilities (spa area) to get showered etc. as well.
What we tend to do when we have the late pick ups is get washed and changed and out the room at 6.00 go for tea, then take a walk in to the local town/village, then come back to the hotel and make use of the AI. It is quite nice to say good bye to the area and by going out for a while you don't feel like you have been hanging around the hotel all night. there is normally an area set aside for storage of suitcases.
with regard to the late checkout room rtc, we are going on mon 24th july from exeter, we get to dalaman at 17:30, we leave on mon7th aug @ 0600.
I have had an email off Fc today stating i will have my room until i leave.
I think this is due to my flight being back to front, but at least i have an email from first choice.

I just can't wait to go, I haven't looked forward to a holiday so much for ages. I think it is because it sounds as though there is so much for the children to do that I know that they will have a great time and if they have a great time then we will too.
My 5 year old has announced tonight that she wants to do the swimming lessons. I didn't think that she would as she can swim and has lessons here.

I have 2 boys, one will be 5 and the other just off 3 and I was hoping to put them in together.
I know that if they can't go in together then they won't go in at all.
We've recently got back from The holiday Village in Lanzarote and they wouldn't go in without each other then.
I tried leaving them for a while to see if they would be okay but the staff had to come and get us because they wouldn't stop crying.
I did ask there if they could go in together but they wouldn't let them.
I wish I hadn't asked now and just put the little one down as being 3 and hoped for the best
sorry if I should be posting this on another section of the forum, but just a quick question, i need to buy an electrical adapter thingy, do they use 2 pin plugs, with the pins being round?
Your Travel Agent is right (i used to be one) your first night is the night you leave UK so you count 14nights from then so in your case the sunday is your 14th night so you will have your room til you leave....like you mentioed your flight is back to front as you usually leave after you arrive (if you know what i mean).
So someone who has a flight at 2300hrs and lands at hotel at 4am, the night before is there first night this is because the room will have needed to be empty from the night before so they can have it straight away so in that case they would need to pay for a late check out room if they dont fly til 4am......hope that makes sense!!!

i have asked this question before as my son is a grown up 5yr old very nearly 6 and he wants to go with my neices in the 6yr old club i was told they just ask you the age and dont ask for proof but i have decided not to put in it now and go with the 5yr old club as they will only have insurance to cover the specified age groups and i wouldnt want to risk it.....this may apply more so with your 2 nearly 3yr old as they are only eligable for creche where they have to a have a smaller ratio of children to staff.
Also i wondered if they found out would they then stop him going to any clubs.....after all they only have to check the booking.
The other thing is say you say he is 3yrs old then go to book a trip where they are free if they are 2yrs old and you tell them he is 2 for the free place then they will find out anyway(just trying to use that as an example of how they might find out)
Personally i wouldnt do it.....but thats just my choice as i know how hard it will be for you, you will have it next time aswell as your 5yr old will go up to the 6 club although i do believe they can go down and age group just not up (but obv you cant put your 5yr old in creche!)....my sons not happy his cousins are in teh group above him as they are only 6weeks older than him and im sure he will go mad when we get there but im just hopeing he makes friends and will be ok as hes not shy!!!
Vicky
We are travelling on the same day as you and have a 10 year old boy, 4 year old boy and 1 year old boy. I am hoping to book the 10 year old into the soccor school but have not booked anything yet. Only just realised we have 3 weeks left until we go so I had better pull my finger out and get sorted.
The reviews and the photo album are great and i'm so excited.
I'm off to Skegness this year as i have had an extension built and a new kitchen so money was tight this year.
please keep the reviews in as i will be on here as often as i can't wait to hear the latest news.
once again thanks to everyone and this forum

Have not been on the forum for a while but must say that all those early travellers have eased any concerns we may have.

What time do you fly and where from? Is it ridiculous time like ours?
We have got to book our son in to soccer school too, still haven't done it either!! Not sure if to book 2 or 4 days. Can't believe it is only 3 weeks to go. Turkey here we come
see you all there
Cheers again for every one's help about the drinks.
hi again.... can anyone who has returned recently tell me if there is still a problem with wasps? also are the mozzies still bad?
Regarding putting children in "older" clubs - you definitely aren't covered by Insurance and they don't let you do it. We went to the Holiday Village in Lanzarote with friends in February. My daughter 9 was in Wavelength with my friends eldest son (11) but my friends other children twins age 8 had to go in the club below. We asked cos it wasn't busy could they go to Wavelength but because of the activities they do they weren't insured therefore not allowed. I personally wouldn't risk it. My 9 year old was allowed to go to the lower club though - but did find it a bit boring the coupleof times she did go. They do have ages on the booking forms.
I know this because when we went to the PP in Turkey this month they came round the pool trying to get "recruits" for the Creche and it said on their form that my other daugher (9months old) was 1 but then realised that she was actually under 1 so wasn't allowed to go (I got my hopes built up for nothing!). By the way they are given performance targets for the creche to try and "recruit" new members if they don't get enough registering so don't be surprised if they come round the pool searching you out if you don't book for the Creche!
The children will make lots of friends and clubs are on at various times so they'll have lots of choice.
One thing I would say though is that the daughter of friends we met there was 9 while she was there and she WAS allowed to go into Wavelength cos the staff said OK. However, the Supervisor was not at all happy with this when she found out but left it as it was because the others had all agreed so I suppose there is some leaway........?
