Jaime, Vrissiana beach. All inclusive, from 544 in April up to 785 peak in August, + 14 a person for a sea view. + 15 each transfers.

When are you going?

Last 2 weeks in September 2007, direct from Belfast. Think its from the 18th Sept approx, those prices.

Thanks!

I've been on the sunrise beach website and it looks really impressive but I think £1800 is a bit steep for B&B. I was quoted £2002 for the last two weeks in May 2007. Depends if you want luxury or not and the beach is on your doorstep.

Cazz, I love the look of Sunrise Beach and they allocate sunbeds! I could get it cheaper but on the website you could only book a sea view room, so it would be £200 odd cheaper for normal room.

TBH its the price that is putting me off. As much if we went HB we would eat out sometimes, that price for B&B is a tad expensive.

I still have to check around a few local travel agents and see how much they are.

Im terrible at making a decision, then panic I have made the wrong one

Never been to cyprus before so havn't a clue.

Thanks

Hi Jaimec. We stayed at the sunrise beach 3 years ago with a wedding party and the hotel was fantastic. The family rooms were really spacious, food great, nothing was too much trouble. They allocate sunbeds for the duration of your holiday too which is an added bonus! We're staying at the Capo Bay this year because we couldnt get in at the Sunrise, so I just hope it is as good. Can't help you with the other hotels, just to say they're all in a great location. Hope this helps a little. :D

I stayed at the Sunrise last year and we go back this year (next Monday!) and can't wait.

For location, sunbed allocation, sea views (although we have side sea view which is lovely enough for us - not sure if full sea view is worth the extra cost?) etc. we think it's fab.

Thanks for the replies :D

Capo Bay looks nice too though  another one for the list.

I think Sunrise just has the edge at the moment.

Im put off Constantinus, there are a few reports of over booking. With my luck this would happen to us.

mmmm decisions decisions

Okay Okay I know you are fed up with questions but.... ....

Reviews of Capo Bay look good and it says they allocate sunbeds? Is this correct?

Also something else to throw into the mix, is we would need to hire a car whilst there as my friend is getting married at Grecian Park, it would be easier to get up and down the road, rather than taxis? Is there parking at any of these hotels?

How much approx is a car to hire, small basic car like a Corsa etc.

(Grecian Park is too far from the town for us, we like to be in the middle of the action as they say!)

Thanks so much again

Hi Jaimec. Capo Bay do allocate sunbeds just like Sunrise Beach- takes the hassle of having to get up early! I think there is parking at the Capo Bay, there definately is at Sunrise Beach. We go in four weeks, can't wait!

Thanks Crissykins,

Im going to look around and get a better price for Sunrise. Then go with which is cheaper Sunrise or Capo.

Are they near each other on the strip?

thanks for all the help, cant wait to hear all about your holiday.

Hi Jaime

There's a few minutes walk between the two of them. Sunrise is more central than the Capo Bay, but to be honest there's not much in it.

Hi,

To throw another one into the mix....
Kepetanios Bay....
Mixed reviews but is it really that bad? (£1022 14nths B&B)

Anyone have any comments on Constantius the Great? Or Iliada (£1316 B&B)?

I need to stop looking as the more I look at the more confused I am becomming

I hope my friend books her date soon, shes hoping to in the next week or two. Im more excited about this than going back to New York in October

Thanks again for your help

I can't comment on the Constantia's, but I can on the iliada as I have stayed there many times we are going out on October the 3rd this year, a full sea view room B&B for two adults and a child is costing us 45CY per night at .84cy to the pound that is £53.75 which I feel is good value, the hotel has 102 rooms there is always plenty of room at breakfast never had to wait for a table, the rooms a very clean nothing is to much trouble for any of the staff, many of which have been there since the hotel opened in 1996, I do feel that there are a few things that could be improved but they are small things like tea and coffee making in the room, larger beach towels. The garden area is small but I have never had to get up a 6 in the morning to get a sun bed normally we don't have breakfast until 9.30

If you want half board it will cost 7.50cy for adults and 3.75cy for children if you book 7 days half board you pay for 5 days

Hope this helps
