Me and my best mate (both aged 20 students, and possably our other mate, 21 year old, male) are looking to get away next year; possably round easter, if the weather is nice then, otherwise, late summer, when the kids have gone back to school.
We would like to be near bars/pubs/nightclubs etc... but not 18-30 type holiday, ideally a 3* or more.
Anyone have any suggestions for hotels/resorts? We have a budget of up to £500 each, but ideally lower, we're students. Also, what's the weather like round easter?

Sounds like you are looking for Playa de las Americas (PDLA). The area in and around what they call Veronicas would be an ideal base for you. Weather is good (cloud permitting) all the year round. Doubt you will get a good deal at Easter because of the school holidays so look to go just before or after the school holidays. You should probably consider doing it DIY. Search the net for cheap flights to Tenerife Sur doing the same for an apartment or hotel. Taxi fare from airport is around 20 euros and only takes 15 mins.
