I see on the First Choice website that this hotel has now been renovated and is open for business.
This hotel has been rebuilt from a really tatty building in the Siesta area of Santa Eulalia. The prices are incredible - over £5000 per couple for a fortnight in July!!! I wonder what it has to offer for that sort of money!!
We're off to SA in September and will look around (if the hoi polloi are allowed in) and will report back.
prestige suites have top floor panoramic views, private pool, jacuzzi and their own seperate entrance to the hotel.
I know for a fact that the chairs around the pool cost €4000 each so that might give you an idea of why they charge so much, anybody can go in there and use the bars and restaurants but there is a dress code and you'll need a wad of cash to pay the bill.
do they do AI?
Yes of course they do, they also have karaoke, quiz nights and Max Bygrave impersonators
Think I'll take my towel and use their expensive sunbeds!! (Joking). Sounds swish - I'll have good look round when I go later on.[/i]
Do you get to throw the reps in the pool ???
I know for a fact that the chairs around the pool cost €4000
And I'll bet you still have to get up at 5.30am to put your towels on them!
I have asked for it to be added to our review page- I wonder if we will get any reviews for it??
You never know Fiona, I was speaking to a couple the other day who had paid for a cheap holiday at the Ses Estaques, they were double booked and moved to a suite at the Fenicia with all meals included., as they said "it's like winning the lottery". I Checked the room prices tonight for a friend, in September the cheapest room is €385 a night, so he is in for a shock!
From what we could see it looked impressive. :
some atmosphere.
Just back from Santa Eulalia. Managed to sneak past the security guard when he was unloading the luggage from a Mercedes. The hotel is all marble and chrome with various restaurants, bars and conference rooms. It was very impersonal and quiet. The sunbeds were swish but as damp as ours following the rain!! I don't think the hotel was for me - I prefer
It shouldn't be a problem getting inside as long as you are dressed reasonably smartly, I've been in there a few times for drinks in the pool bar (which isn't that expensive - around €9 for a G&T) and have never been questioned. Out of interest I discovered while I was there that the sunbeds automatically move around so that you are always in the sun - pretty cool!
