There were some *very* negative posts about the Continental/Kontinental in the past, most of which referred to the 2* section, if I remember correctly - there is one review of the 3* section, from last August, HERE.

This is a hotel with a serious identity crisis.

The main one being that of name. It can be Hotel Continental, Hotel Park Continental, and Hotel Continental Park. As a further variation the word 'Hotel' can be in the middle as in Park Hotel Continental. The Bulgarians prefer to put it first, but that's a minor detail.

Just when you think you might be getting the hang of it, you find it comes in two flavours - 3 * and 2 *, and I seem to recall the 2 * was featured on Holidays from Hell
