We are thinking of booking the Oceania Club at Nea Moudania Halkidiki,
has anyone been to this resort, any info ?
you must be on the same lines as us! I've spotted this hotel at the weekend and really fancy it - posted on here Sat but can't find it now! We've been to Sani and the resort is nearish to there - can't find much info on Hotel because its new, had a couple of prices, it is quite expensive, the only thing I'm concerned about is the All inclusive bit, I have heard that you do compromise a little on food at an AI - have you been AI before? the Hotel is supposed to be a 5* so I reckon it should be OK - post me your thoughts please.

We have been AI loads of times, I think if you book atleast 4* you can't really go wrong. Who have you seen it with ?
I've only seen the Hotel in Thomson and First Choice, I'm going to get some prices tomorrow. although my friend has just rung and said she tried to book (for 2 adults, 2 children) in a junior suite and its a double sofa bed apparently (different information in First Choice Summer and First Choice Greece) so not good really (mine are 14 and 10) its alot of money to listen to them two moaning all holiday.
Any more info and I'll let you know.
Just found your postings while trying to find info on the Oceania Club. We're thinking of going in May with our baby (he'll be 10 months old then). Did anyone book it in the end? If so, how was your holiday? What are the facilities like? Thanks!
Thinking of going in August.Seems good value for allinclusive.Anyone got any details as it is a new hotel.
Yes! We're going at the beginning of May (the hotel only opens at the end of April so hopefully the paint will be dry!). We've done a bit of research and from what we can gather, it's going to be fantastic! I got some info from the Sani Resort group who are going to be running the hotel (they have a very good reuptation). You can e-mail them on itioupala@saniresort.gr. They sent us details about what's included as well as the size of the rooms. We're really looking forward to it!
your queries regarding reviews of this hotel will not be answered, as you will not find anyone who has visited, as this complex does not open until 27th april 2005. as for the questions regarding Ai hotels we have found that as long you book 4* and better that there should not normally be a problem. we have been on many and the only poorer quality one was a 3* in spain (mentioning no names), we've booked the oceania for mid august and the rep we booked with is holidaying with her family at the same time. (that must say something)
The website is now up and running: http://www.oceania.gr Looks a fantastic place, hoping to go next year (holidays already booked for the this year :D), so make sure you all add your reviews when you return

It looks great! We're going on 5th May which is now the opening day (it got delayed but I'm reassured that most of it is ready now!!!). Can't wait. Will tell all on our return... Jane
http://www.halkidiki.com. Their forum has got loads of links to the Oceania, and a very lengthy detailed thread from a guy called Michael who lives out there. He has been and visited the site and his postings are very thorough

please could you add this hotel to the review list....thank you
There are a few reviews on the Halkidiki Message Board website for this Hotel - I think they are experiencing a few teething problems from what I have read up to now - I nearly booked for this year and I'm glad I didn't now - maybe it will be ok for next year.

Please check the following page for details of how to add a hotel:
We are going to this hotel on the 16th June. After reading a lot of the reviews we were beginning to get a bit worried as they seem to have had quite a few teething problems. However, some people just seem to complain about the smallest thing just for the sake of it! Whilst I realise it can be a bit difficult with children when things don't go to plan, surely most adults can cope with a few problems and even have a laugh about them. We are thoroughly looking forward to our holiday and keeping an open mind and are determined to enjoy ourselves. After all, your holiday is what you make it.
Hi guys, planning to go to this hotel in May, 2 adults & 2 children aged 10 & 8. Could someone advise me which type of suite to book (is a dlx jnr suite worth booking over a jnr suite) and in which block ( I believe they are numbereed 1 to 5?). I am planning to have either a jnr suite dlx or otherwise or a suite. I have read elsewhere that the suites are at ground floor level and the jnr suites/dlx jnr suites are 1st & 2nd floors (perhaps better sea view?). Any help/advice with this hotel & its layout would be greatly appreciated, I contacted the hotel but they didn't have a layout. Many thanks.
Try this link. Lots of stuff on Oceania
We have just booked a week here next May, booked direct with hotel, ba flights, really good price, anyone else going next year?
