I've been reading through the comments in this thread and i can agree that Turkey is a great place and has some lovely places to visit, by the same margin there are some nice Greek Islands.
So far i have visited Crete, Cyprus and Rhodes and Side, Marmaris and Gumbet (Bodrum) in Turkey. I'm now looking to book a holiday in early september with a couple of mates and Zante is one of the places we have considered.
Does anyone have some suggestions about a resort in Zante that would be good for us to visit? Obviosly we know the hype is round Laganas and we do want to visit a place which is pretty lively but we are all in mid to late 20's so we're not looking for club 18-30 style..

I've never personally been but have friends who have and they say it's a great resort with lots to do and not far from the water park either.
Make sure you get up to Hisaronu for the night life/restaurants though! We tend to 'live' there and dolmus down to Olu!!! Any info..feel free to pm me! We're now taking step backwards...and trying the Greek Isles once again! Having done..Thassos, Skiathos, Corfu, Evia, Naxos, Kefalonia (3times!), Rhodes - we're trying Zakynthos this year...after much deliberation!!!
