Best place to drink Mythos..

Sitting in a little bar by the harbour in Skiathos town, watching people wander by and the boats coming and going on a warm evening or on the little bourtzi island just off the harbour where you can watch the ferries and fishing boats late into the evening! Anyone have any favourite places and does anyone know if you can get Mythos beer over here...

But especially early evening whilst having a meal in Aramis, Kardemena. Nothing like that first Mythos of the evening, fresh from a day of doing nothing but lounging around in the sun all day.

Sitting in the Remetzo in Poros harbour, Kefalonia. Right on the waterfront looking across to Ithaca and all the small islands on the horizon.............Heaven!

Watching the sun go down across the caldera on Santorini ....... watching the boats bobbing at Kassiopi ....... with a lovely Shrimp Saganaki...... listening to cool tune at Yazz bar in Perissa ........ anywhere really as long as my husband is alongside me :wink:

i would say at the poporo in alykes zante
the taverna is right on the beach and the sunset is to die for
9 days to go

we have a thing where every day on holiday at threeish we have a bottle of mythos in the shade by the pool bar so refreshing and all part of the holiday experience. we also order it off the internet for special ocasions and bbq's at home so we can remember all the great holidays we have had.

I've had my first Mythos this year and it was in England. A new Greek restuarant has just opened and they sell Mythos and Keo. Not quite the same as drinking it sat on a beach but still very nice.

At the taverna on the beach in Aghia Paraskevi ( Skiathos )with the warm breeze blowing in the early evening.Can't think of anything better.

Watching the sun go down at Phylosophia taverna Pefkos on Rhodes. Taverna is on the clifftop overlooking the beach, absolutley stunning and the food is great too :wink:

Skiathos harbour is great janbabe, as is the Poporo in Alikes (thanks for the reminder pat.e10!).

However, I have to agree with greeklass - the stunning view from a little fish taverna in Thira, overlooking the Caldera at sunset.

The glass has just come from the freezer and sticks to the paper tablecloth; the beer is so cold ice forms on the outside of the bottle; the first sip causes an "ice-cream" headache!

Only 6 days left 'til Thassos... :yipee

Only ever drunk it once, last month, in Katerina's Bar in Mykonos. We got seats on the terrace hanging out over water facing the windmills. Fabulous experience.

Oh, and I quite enjoyed the beer too....
