Andy I would definitely go for the Turkey option - we went to Hammermet a few years ago and were disappointed that there was very little to do outside the hotel, only 1 or 2 bars/restaurants and no other nightlife.
Turkey definately even though Marmaris is not really a quiet place. We didn't like Tunisa would never go back but we love Turkey.
cheers
I never heard of Royal Azure in Hammamet.
Bel Azure was a place recommended to me by our rep while staying at Bel Air which proved to be wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy to noisy (pubs/clubs/discos from every direction) and we really loved Hammamet so our rep sugested bel Azure for next time as it is nice and quiet apparently.
Hope you have a great time

Vicy - a lot must have changes in the last few years since you have been there becuse I was in Hammamet this year and believe me, if you want a nightlife till 5 am every night - it is there. all around Bell Air (just do not hope for any sleep LOL)
