It is a family island. Take your children......you'll not be disappointed.

Menorca is perfect for kids and families. It is not the sort of place for hen or stag events.

The resorts around cuitadella are a bit more 'english' but the other resorts, ie, arenal d'en castell, son bou, cala galdana, santo thomas, binibecca, cala en porter and more .............................. are perfect.

We have been going since ours were babies, they are 8 & 11 now.

Nice safe beaches-ideal for toddlers and young kids, but if you are thinking of taking your teenage kids along-be prepared for some bored faces

Perfect for kids...under 13 I'd say ideal. It would probably be a little boring for teens. Mine are 7 and 4 and love it... it is clean, friendly and there are lots of places to explore...my tip though...hire a car. Take them go-karting at the Ladro Castle on the road to Ferreries, go and see the horse show on the way to Cala Galdana, go on the glass bottom boat at Mahon, go up Mount Torro, eat in es castell one evening and go to Son Bou one night, ride on the little train then stop off at the Hawaiian bar to have the waiter on roller skates through garlands around your neck!!! Loadsa fun to be had if you go looking! Loads of lovely beaches safe for kids too...

My 'kids' are 12 and 17 and they love Menorca.3 weeks ago we were sitting outside a cafe in Ciutadella at 11.30 at night.Not a drunk in sight,just hundreds of locals enjoying their beautiful town.

Don't forget the water parks, the bouncy whales and rabbits, go paddling/fishing at fornells, there is so much for the kids - and we always go to Menorca because we can't abide drunken yobs - which my two boys will probably grow in to one day! (although I sincerely hope not!)
