My son took this photo recently. At the end of scholastic year to celebrate after the end of year exams, the students do the essential Mellieha Bay all night bbq, followed by early morning breakfast of cheesecakes and peacakes (pastizzi) from the cafe near the gozo ferry.
I love to watch the sunrise from the deck of the gozo ferry on the return trip after a summer evening out in Gozo.

Yes well done Ingliza, I'm sat in the office back here in the UK. looking forward to a day stuck inside four walls!!!

Hi all, I'm sat in my office looking out of the office wondering when not if it's going to rain again, and dreaming of walking Dingli cliffs with Mrs Sliema2 and a picnic with the stunning blue Mediteranian sea and Filfla to our right and listening to the gentle breeze and smelling the wild thyme under foot, oh well only 7 weeks to go.

Blimey I do feel sorry for all you office types. Just come back from a fishing bash in North Wales, though my real reason was to look after my son who's on work experience in my sister's business!

Didn't catch any fish but the weather was gorgeous and have slowly built up a reasonable tan ready to brave the fantastic weather in Malta - 3 weeks today (and counting!),

lucky you, i have been slaving away in a hot kitchen, with tempretures in the high 40's. but i also will be in malta in three weeks, staying at the imperial in sliema.m i have never used this hotel before but it looks lovely.
I will be glad to get some cool weather, i see it's only 29 there at the moment, hope it stays that way.

Hi Trev, not feeling to sorry for myself right now as Mrs Sliema2 and I spent a very pleasant week in Rhodes last week, not as good as magical Malta of course no where is, but still very pleasant non the less, really looking forward to Malta again in about 7 weeks though it never ever ceases to attract.

so jealous of all of you going this year seriously though have a great time in Malta.

Due to having to buy a new car last month our holiday plans have been scuppered for this year, but we WILL be back in August 2007.
