Ok, sorry if this has been posted before, its our first time to Cyprus. We fly from Manchester this Wednesday early evening/tea time and arrive in Cyprus at 01.30am. Just wanted to know what to wear for flight. Shorts/Tshirts etc... will it be cool in Larnaca at that time of night, should we take coats/cardigans?
At the moment i have just packed shorts/tshirts/swimwear and evening wear stuff. Any other recommedations would be appreciated. Thanks!

Leave your coats/cardigans at home. It will be warm enough for t-shirt and shorts at 1.30am.
I think that you've got it right in terms of the clothes you're bringing with you. Anything light will be fine.
I'm flying from M'cr on Saturday.
Have a great time.
Mike
You definitely wont need a coat or a cardigan except for maybe on the plane or when you get back to Manchester on the way home!
Even at that time as soon as you get off the plane the heat will hit you,oh how I love that feeling....

i fly on Sunday night and wont reach there til about 7 o clock (cyprus time) Will it be warm then???
I would think so.
YES!!!!! are for real rach-rainx can you not read what was posted? I think you are pulling our plonkers..
sorry jimbox a thousand other people have asked the same question too!!!
have a good holiday DO not worry about how warm it is going to be, take it from me you will be more than warm all of the time you are here, you will look forward to cooling down when you do get back!
ok!!!
Heat getting to you Starting to sound a bit narky with all the first-time Cyprus people, although I'm sure you don't mean to.
As I'm sure you know, we can go on to various sites and get a 10 day forecast, so although no doubt some people appeciate it, I honestly wouldn't bother with your detailed one.
Chill, I'll be sweating it out with you on Thursday hopefully......
Cheers,
Jinty
thank you Jinty
Jinty....Some members just cant be bothered to read the replies some of us put a lot of time & effort to doing including the weather forcast!!!...as for getting ''narky'' ha!! don't think so, off out for a meze with my jumper and woolly hat on...
JIM........wait for me , I want to share your meze please
The written word never really comes across in quite the way it is intended, despite emoticons. So although Jims post sounded a bit sarcastic and ruffled, I dont think it was meant in any hostile way - just he was making a point.
Everyone should know where the Search button is and how to use it.
'although I'm sure you don't mean to'.
Jim provides loads of valuable information, quite a bit of which I have used myself and I wouldn't hesitate to ask him anything I need to know, as I 'm quite sure his help would very much be forthcoming.
People on this forum only post because they want to..... nobody has to contribute if don't want to, be it weather forecasts or all of the other very useful posts. The last thing I would like to see are new members to the forum being put off because:
a) they are so excited to have discovered this mine of information
b) they are double excited because they are going to Cyprus and want the information yesterday. and lets face it, they can't share that if they use the search engine Let's just cut them a little slack please.
Anyway, lets get back to the real stuff..... I'm off tomorrow and still haven't told hubby he's going.... what did I say about getting excited? Must be about our 20th time and I'm still like a kid
Cheers,
Jinty
I did actually say: Jim provides loads of valuable information, quite a bit of which I have used myself and I wouldn't hesitate to ask him anything I need to know, as I 'm quite sure his help would very much be forthcoming.

Woooah!! Who was I giving a hard time to? I was being somewhat generic, as was plain from my text. Also I was being balanced in my reply.
I've been on here for a few years in a number of guises - I know Jims advice is sound.
Perhaps this is one of those misunderstanding I was on about?
Seriously, I understand what you say - I just think a gentle reminder of the benefits of the search facility / full reading of a post is sometimes appropriate and sensible for forum users, new and old.
Have a good time on holiday!!!
Let us know how it goes. I'm sure it will be brilliant.
No offence, but no-one has asked you to put the weather forcast up on this forum, that was your choice and whether or not people decide to read them is entirely up to them. So please don't say that people just can't be bothered to read the posts, some people are just excited and just want to skip all the replies however annoying that maybe!!! Although the info you do post on this forum is EXTREMELY helpful
Yes MY choice but all you had to do was open your eyes and read my post..I get excited too you know !!
