Do you want both Charter & schedule flights
hi rob we are flying from manchester with emarites on 24th oct 06 to mumbai rtn 5th april 07 anita
Ohh... Lots are coming via Mumbai - quite suprised.... I guess most of you are coming long term if you're going via Mumbai - I've just spent £306 on my ticket with Virgin... Anyway, any other airports for direct to Goa flights? And are Airtours/Thompsons their own airlines, or do they use the ones above?
We are also flying to Mumbai with Emirates from Birmingham via Dubai on 1st November, returning 11th April.

We're booked on a Thomson package in November from Manchester to Goa via Abu Dhabi.
On the booking our flight is shown as Thomsonfly.
Hope this is helpful

BMI were great, the best flight I have had so far.
We have a direct MyTravel flight again in Feb from Manchester. Yes it's their own airline. A big airbus. Beats the Monarch flight any day Tracy
Ray.
Cant wait
Hi Rob, I think more people are going scheduled via Mumbai this year cos they're fed up with cramped, expensive charter flights. Am going to try BMI and Jet myself this year... found a deal for £350 all taxes and charges included for Feb next year.. See you at Lazy Days mate
So who do you recommend here are my comments...
BA - Always wanted to fly with them which might have heightened my expectations, but was ok, one the way back I had 3 seats to myself which was lovely! - The food back was a little un interesting, but good service...
Air India - The plane looked like it was out of the 1970's on the inside but food and staff were great!
Emirates - Probably the best all rounder...
Now flying with Virgin, so will have to see...
