Could well have been as they have little tables outside over looking the sea.
sorry glynis - not it WASN'T the disco/caves - it was somewhere else - white with a terrace overlooking the sea
We've stopped off a couple of times at the one in Binibeca
Click Here choose Binibeca picture gallery. The first 3 pictures are the one I'm thinking of, although it's not exactly on the cliffs. Am sure I can remember stopping off at one bar which was highish up over the sea........but can't for the life of me remember if it was Menorca or not.
Will ask hubby tonight as he has a better memory for these things than I do.
Might be Calan Porter!
I would say cala en porter too.
It may be Arenal D'en Castell, which has certainly one restaurant that I can remember (I am talking six years ago though) called Sa Govina, that was set in the hillside overlooking the sea. Lovely food too.
Its definitely not arenal de'n castell. Not sure about the binibeca one as it was higher in the cliffs...... !!!!!!! Perhaps I dreamt it! Cala n Porter - could be if it is a different one to the disco/caves one. I think it was that end of the island!
I dont know what your homepage is, but go to the orange home page, and type in cala en porter in your search box but click pictures. There are loads you can enlarge and have a look at.
I think you could be right there Deb!
It is Nort East of Mahon - think it might be in cala mesquida but could be wrong
This might be the one you are thinking of
Is there a prize for the correct answer ?
Or could it be the restaurant overlooking the beach in Cala Galdana - that is set in the cliffs ??
How about Max's Bar restaurant, on the cliffs, great sunsets, overlooks the sea at Cal'n forcat
The location is fantistic, like Cafe Del Mar in Ibiza. Great for a sundowner, but the food is standard. We always move on to either Haiti Restaurant or Bianco's if we are staying in the resort, otherwise somewhere in Ciutadella.
