we cant make up our minds whether to get a small amount of euros in the uk.Then take the sterling and change it up as and when we need, as we have heard you get a better exchange rate in greece.

do lots of places in Lesbos exchange sterling?

exchange rate here is 1.37

Last week i got 1.39 from thomson the best rate in bedford,, we are taking 140 evro (to pay for taxi and see us through first day or so) then we will change sterling to evro (note in greek it's EVRO) for the rest of our 2 weeks usualy get somewhere arround 1.415 to 1.43 depending where you change
