It's usually cheaper Duty Free I've found in the past. However there are many perfmeries in the town and I haven't checked their prices for a few years. My Greek friends usually ask me to bring perfume for them so I imagine it's not so cheap over there.

you cannot buy Duty Free within the EEC all purchases are Duty paied at sorce... look around the towns usualy you will find most things cheaper than the airport

Cigarettes are a standard price all over Greece, so they will be no cheaper at the airport. The booze might be a euro or 2 cheaper at the airport but the duty free shop is quite small and doesn't stock everything. Perfume is really expensive there compared to somewhere like the canary islands.

I meant buying in U.K. airports is cheaper. You are allowed to buy perfume and it's cheaper than the High St. here.
