Have been with James Villas to Pollenca, they have dozens of villas in and around Pollenca. The ones we have stayed in have been excellent.
I have never seen any jellyfish in the sea around PP, I might have just been lucky!!!.

James Villas no problem. Jellyfish - about a month ago, people were being warned to stay out of the water at Cala San Vicente (around the headland from Puerto) because of jellyfish. But that seems to have sorted itself out. I've seen the odd rogue jellyfish in Alcudia Bay these past few days but I haven't heard of any in Pollensa Bay.

There was an article on the news last night saying that the med was been warned about large numbers of jellyfish.

They reckon that over fishing and the hot weather has drawn them into the shores.

Didn't state where in the med. Lets hope Majorca is avoided!

Just back from Alcudia and didnt see any Jellyfish. We went on one of those glass bottom boat trips and we saw 2 tiny jellyfish and that was it. I was also worried about them before we went.

Sad to have to say that the Guardia Civil issued a general warning to expect an "imminent" plague of jellyfish in the Balearics - that's from the Daily Bulletin today. If there are no other warnings, where lifeguards are on duty, ask them what the situation is, they should know. There have been some jellyfish in Alcudia bay already, but certainly not a plague - yet.

Well to add to the previous message. There are now colonies of jellyfish off the south-west and south-east of the island. The civil defence is issuing warnings and general advice.
