Hi,
Another recommendation thread I am afraid! Please can everybody help me with the following..
Firstly
Q1. who to travel with?
Who is the cheapest to travel with? I require 2 adults Sharm El Sheikh for 2 weeks over Xmas and new year 06, in an AI decent hotel ( see below). I have done my research and loked at longwood/Peltours/jetline etc. and eclipse seem to offer the best deals at the minute. £500-600
Q2? Which hotel?
Yes, I have looked at the hotel review section, but I can possibly read every post for every hotel !
My hotel requirements are;
(In no particular priority)
Budget incl flights £500-600
4-5*
Have a good variety of different fresh food every day
A beach with sand that you can walk into the sea on
Good views from the room, and close to the beach as possible
In SES, close to the town as possible.
As MANY (daytime) activities as possible e.g. waterskiing/windsurfing/archery/pedalos/banana boats/kayaks/tennis/squash/good snorkelling
A hotel that celebrates xmas and the new year
DVD players in the room - as nightly entertainment seems a bit scarce
Quite quiet - No late night discos and drunk revellers etc.
A variety of restaurants
A variety of pools
Offer of excursions
Anything that anyone else would think is useful.
Again I have done quite alot of research, but their are so many hotels on offer! Coral sea resort looks OK - but I think that it lacks all the watersport activites.
try travel counsellors we went with them in june AI 2 adults 2 kids 5* hotel and it only cost a grand including insurance. give them a ring and tell them where you want to go and get a list of the hotels they have got in the area you want to be, then check them out on this site, fone them back with the one or 2 you fancy and get prices. that`s what we did and we wern`t pushed into anything. i have a map here so here are some in the area, don`t know if they are AI.Helnan Marina, Movenpick Jolie Ville, Hilton Fayrouz, Tropicana Rosetta and Sofitel. hope this helps
