We've been going to Turkey now for well over 10 years, going from cheap and cheerful pensions in Hisaronu and Kusadasi in the early 90's, to mid-market hotels in Kalkan in the early 00's and with the arrival of our daughter, 4/5* AI's in Belek and Olu Deniz more recently.

We'd now like a week in the October half term. Life is so much more complicated with a child in tow (damn the overnight flight-times!) and we don't like to "slum it" so much now. We'd like to try something new and wonder if you could come up with some suggestions.

I've sourced the flights to Dalaman, now we need a hotel.

We'd like:

- Within 2 hours of Dalaman (taxi)
- 4*-ish
- Board basis not important
- Kid's club and mini-disco (VERY VERY important)
- Nice sand beach within 0.5 mile
- NOT a big/loud resort like Marmaris/Bodrum - we're fans of Kalkan, but don't think there's a hotel to suit (and it's rather steep for our daughter) We were also pretty non-plussed about Olu Deniz last October. There's virtually nothing "Turkish" left there, now - just a bit of local colour would be nice.

I suppose the ideal thing for us would be a kid-friendly Belek-style hotel in a small to medium size beach-resort, if that's not asking too much. We'd just settle for Belek if it weren't for the seriously anti-social flight times. I'd really like to try somewhere like Yalikavak , but I expect that there is nothing suitable hotel-wise.

Anyone got any ideas?
