anybody got any recent reviews on this hotel. my son is going in september and would like any information if possibel . thanks
Rooms are a little basic, with a small balcany (enough space for small table a 2 chairs), but if don't intend spending lots of time in your room, then it is good enough.
Swimming pool is a decent size with plenty of sunbeds and it is clean. Food is not bad and generally there is plenty of it. Gardens are pretty with hamocks dotted around.
Staff are helpful. The hotel is right in the centre of Gumbet, turn right and you are in the quieter part of gumbet, with restaurants and bars open to the early hours. Turn left and walk about 300 yards and you are in Bar Street (very livelely).
All in all, not a bad hotel, we are going back in Sept (but not staying at the Parkim Palais - not because of the hotel, but because the price has increased since May, to the point that it is £150 per couple more).
thanks robert for the reply looking forward to going and did you go on any trips eg over to greece or what trips are interesting we are 50years old but not fuddy duddyes!
