I stayed in Orba three years ago. Nice area but the town is completely overrun with the British so lots of British things going on. It's not quite the authentic town that it appears to be.

We have been to Orba several times but only stopped once more a place that we just drive through when we fancy going inland away from the sea.

We live in Cumbre del Sol up a mountain with beautiful meditteran sea and valley views. it is very peaceful here we have a villaa and an apartment we rent out.

Are you looking for a holiday or permanent move/

Just for a week or two next May. There is just myself and my husband.

If you are just there for a week and want peace and quiet to chill, it will be fine for you. But it is quite a way to get to more tourist places the sea etc. Do you just want somewhere to just stay for the full week to relax or do you intend to be out and about?

I love the area where we are Cumbre del Sol as we are up a mountain with very wide roads to get there, in between Moraira and Javea by the sea, but lovely views and generally peace and quiet here but yet still 2 commercial centres in Cumbre for restaurants/nightlife if we wanted.

Most of the Northern C.Blanca has lovely places

We do tend to be a little lazy on holiday!! We love to have a beautiful view - sea or mountain and are quite happy to sit and read or do puzzles and generally relax. As we live in a rural area we want peace and quiet on holiday too.

As long as we have got a few shops for the essentials and a few places to eat within easy reach then we are fine.

Where you are sounds very nice - with the best of both worlds.
