Ege hotel in Icmeler is different to the other one in marmaris.Im going to icmeler on friday staying at ege hotel im not sure were it is but its central.Im sure i will just have to find out on Friday,there is a picture on holidays4u website of ege hotel.

Thanks so much!! I've not been to turkey before & know that icmeler is really close to marmaris so wasn't sure if they classed it as the same. Am quite relieved to hear its not the same as quite a few bad reviews of Ege Park Apartments

I'm going to this hotel on Friday 18th Aug for two weeks with my partner. Was told it's a very nice part of Turkey.

doesn't look like much to look at and it says there it's a 2 star hotel, but the people I booked it through said it was 3 star. Hope it's nice.

are we talking about the same hotel here???ege hotel which used to be alinda 2 near across the road from mudurnu chicken???I stayed here from 11 august - 24 august and the hotel was crap everyone in the hotel was complaining the staff didnt know what they was doing.The walls were dropping off in our room,toilet was leaking the whole time so the bathroom floor was constantly wet,air con was rubbish,you couldnt call what thety said was a balcony,it was like a little step outside.The only good thing was the pool.Everyone in that hotel was complaining and said they would never go again,also quite a few familys we saw move hotels it was that bad.

Can't remember the chicken place. In Icmeler. You got to it by walking down past The Lemon Tree Restaurant. No the balcony wasn't what you'd call a balcony but served a good purpose to hang towels over!! But then we didn't really spend much time in the rooms to want to sit out there.

The staff couldnt do enough for us. I.e children shutting the room door & forgetting key was still in there, toilet wouldnt flush one day and they got us sorted asap.

When we first walked into our rooms we said"very basic" but then we expected that for a last minute cheap deal. Can't coomplain about cleanliness as rooms were cleaned every day nearly I think.

We mustve been there the same time as you - we got in on 21st Aug. But we all said we'd def stay there again.

99.9% of the reason for a hotel to change its name is because it had so many complaints and bad marks against it.
