On the border with France.
Is it worth a visit?
Are there always queues?

Sorry can't tell you anything more about it other that I have posted but I would not think there is a lot there as there are only 700 people living there.

Le Perthus is one street on a hill full of shops selling
mainly selling booze and cigarettes, but also food and sweets/chocolates so it depends on what you are looking for. If you are coming from Spain i would suggest parking near the border control and walking up the hill and if you are coming from France park in the car park just as you come into Le Perthus which will then mean walking down the hill.
I would suggest going early morning or late afternoon.
