Hi, we are fans of Icmeler but went to Kalkan back in May and thoroughly enjoyed it(see resort/hotel report, Hotel Nur) and we are going to Kusadasi next month(places we've not been to before). In the past we went to Hisaronu and stayed at St Nicholas Park Hotel(not to be confused with St Nicholas Park Gardens). This, we enjoyed immensely, it was on a Bed & Breakfast basis and was the venue for the weekly Turkish Night. Hope you get settled with something soon.

ive been to both olu deniz and altinkum and in my opinion olu deniz is way better than altinkum, hisaronu is only about a mile or so up the hill but is near the main bars, shops etc whereas olu deniz is near the beach and lagoon. i also like icmeler and im sure you will love olu

sadly i didnt like kusadasi it was way too busy and big for us , ive been to turkey around 30 times over the last 24 years and this was the place that gave me the most hassle never again, so hope things arent so hectic there now as it was a few years ago

olu or hisaronu are both nice resorts just do your research there is enough information on h/t to help you decide

Olu Deniz and Hsaronu are fantastic resorts. Our favourite 2 resorts after 18 years of travelling to different places.
Olu Deniz - if you want beach, paragliding, stunning scenery
Hisaronu - if you want nightlife.

Either of the 2 if you want a bit of both, they are only a short dolmus or taxi ride away from each other.

I stayed at Asena Village in Hisaronu and loved it. Olu or Fethiye are only a dolmus ride away.
