What happens to duty free or other stuff bought at the airport shops?
Why is the other thread locked?
The other thread has a link to the flights and airports forum.
Duty free is bought after you're through security, so my understanding is that you can purchase Duty Free before boarding your flight, and you can take this onboard in the cabin.

from airtours site, any duty free not matching hand luggage restrictions will be confiscated, particularly liquids
I think I will ring our local airport tomorrow to see what the situation is, currently we are to check in three hours before our flight now it is advising another two hours. I will go mad having nothing to read for all that borimg time.
