I'm of to Grecian Bay area of Agia Napa in September with 9 friends and we'd like to go to Protaras at least one night for a meal and a few drinks
I'm very familiar with Napa but not so with the Protaras strip, can anyone recommend a good, friendly restaurant with excellent food that would be happy to accommodate 10 of us.
Would it be worth booking in advance as there's so many of us or just turn up on the night ?
Thanks in advance guys.
We got back from Protaras last weekend and had some great meals in the Andama. Its on the main strip, about half way along. They have traditional dishes and a great choice of international also. Its sister restaurant is the Corner Restaurant at the end of the strip and is a little more up-market. Both great restaurants serving fantastic food. I would book as they get quite busy and your group is pretty big.

Ive eaten in most of the restaurants on the strip in my 7 visits to Protaras unlike the other member i didnt rate the Andama. The best meal i ever had was in The Corner House it was superb, im not sure whether you can book but its only 2 minutes from ayia napa so you could call over one night and suss it out. The main strip in Protaras is one way so as you turn on near macdonalds it is right at the bottom end ironically on the corner. There are lots of fantastic restaurants i could mention but this is my personal favourite, although im sure other members have theif favourites as well.
Hi there...me and my families favourite by far was the Anatolia. Its not far from the main strip...it's right at the top to the lights (past Mcdonalds) turn right. It was lovely and the staff were great.
Yes ive been in that one and my girlfriend was given a rose. If you cross the road and keep walking towards penera for only a few minutes there is a nice one called Rocks which is lit up in pink. If you sit outside the sfinx bar and look on the top road there is one called the Secret Garden the guy is married to a english lady, he used to work in Rockafellas my Favourite bar on the strip. Also i like island affair the italian le strada up towards macdonalds. Sometimes i like to explore instead of staying on the strip, do you agree with me that it is getting to busy with too many tacky elvises? I might stay in penera next year i used to run through there at night when i went for my daily jog, it seems quiet nice with just enough to do, not being to far from protaras. Im going to Kafelonia in 2 weeks for the first time, 7 times running is enough even for me in protaras.
Even got a shot of whisky on the house after the meal..

Thanks for the replies so far.
How far round the corner is The Anatolia from the main strip ? Should we book ? If so do they have a website ?
Thanks
