Melissa have you tried http://www.hotelscomparison.net/ They bring up search results for a quite a few accommodation only sites and show the price comparisons.

Melissa, http://www.wintersunshineholidays.com/ are usually hard to beat, especially with their discounts, unless maybe someone is offering a discount code, or like Thomsons, have silly prices (£1 per night etc.).

I also go for who is offering the best deal in the first place rather than ask for a price match, as they in my mind deserve the deal in the first place.

Yes, check out Winter Sunshine Holidays melissa2223. They've always been the cheapest for me after adding my discount.

I'm not interested in who deserves the booking, to me the company with the best price is the one to go with. If that means I have to batter a company to get some extra discount then so be it
After all remember travel companies are the same as any other type of company in that they have to cover their costs. I've been to a few travel companies in the past and played each one against each other and they've had no problem lowering the price.

That said, don't be afraid to contact any of the majors; Alpharooms, Find me accom, Winter Sunshine etc and tell them your best quote, whether they have a pricebeater program or not... what's the worst that could happen!?!

Jazz try that link I've given above it saves you having to scout around quite a few of the accommodation only sites.

It will eliminate quite a few sites then you can compare their prices with the ones you have in your favourites ie wintersunshine.

I've just passed it on to my friend who does a lot of DIY holidays in a year and she thought it very handy. She is now going to check their cheapest price and then check with the ones in her favourites.
