I think two elderly ladies would be well respected in goa the locals would be very helpful as they are with all tourists but i would advise them to be extra vigilant with their money as the goans cant help ripping tourists off there is allways one price for us and one price for locals so my advice would be for them to get talking to other holiday makers and check out the best prices they have had before they buy anything and the same goes for taxi fares , and allways fix a taxi fare in advance anita

My first bit of advice for anybody going to Goa in April would be to make sure that they have A/C in their room, April is usually very humid!!

i agree with getting air/conditoning in april. i went for 2 weeks in april this year and it was so hot and sticky at night that we had to constantly have the fans on, although we did cope without air conditioning.

No i didnt see a single cloud when i went to goa this april, and i was there for 2 weeks.

it was very hot though, i advise staying out of the sun between 12-3, that wasnt a problem for me because id just go into the beach shack, have lunch and chat to the staff.

She's well into 70s now bless her but she did experience the Dominican Republic last year in September when the weather was again was very very humid without any problems really.
