Not sure about spirits bought in the resorts.
But as an indication on security we flew back on the Friday after the terrorist plot on the Thursday and everybody on our BA flight had no limitations on their hand luggage by the airport or BA.

So I would think you are safe with your purchase, there is also a couple of shops airside offerinf duty free prices on items, not sure of the cost though.

I presume even if there is no liquid in hand luggage you can still bring bottles back in the suitcases ?
