Unfortunately you are probably going the last week of the "proper" season which means most of the tourist places will be winding down - or even shut. - There is still stuff going on - it may just be harder to find.
The plus side is for many people is that is is that much quieter that the high season (if you prefer to relax)
Weatherwise I've found it can be quite mixed Its still warmer than the UK but prone to rain.

Hope this helps

Hi Little Princess!

Like scoop rightfully says you are going outside of the clubbing season, all clubs with the exception of Pacha in Ibiza town will be closed - Pacha is open on Friday and Saturday nights only. Although occasionally special events do happen at nightclubs outside of the season, so be on the watch out for them if you would like to experience the clubs and bear in mind, these can often be virtually unannouced, so keep an ear to the ground.

However the weather is usually still pretty nice, it is likely that you will need warm clothes for the evenings but during the day it could very well still be very warm - the average max at the time you are going is 23c, while the average low is still a respectable 16c.

Many people like to go in October as Ibiza is largely quiet and the locals and expats tend to reclaim the island, resulting in some fun nights out as the bars start to maybe relax their approach of trying to make as much money as they possibly can.

I hope you have a great holiday.

I've been in October a few times now, not quite as late as you though usually around the 7th or 15th (this year the 8th :D ). It can sometimes be very lively or sometimes very quiet, just hit and miss really.

The weather has usually been very good to us, with only the odd poor day and occasional cold night (although last year the nights seemed warmer than in previous years).

We've stayed at Club Paraiso twice and it is a very good standard of accomodation and is handily placed for the West End, the Cafe bars next to the fountains and the sunset strip. It is in a residential area about 5 minutes from the west end.

If i was you i would contact my tour operator and put in a request for a top floor studio as the ones on the top floor have a large balcony and a front terrace as well.

Club Paraiso and San Antonio Town in general should still have a fair amount of young people. It isn't the sort of place that attracts stickies as my mam calls them :D

It isn't going to be that quiet and its hardly going to be boring either.
Remember that the company you are with and what you make of your holiday yourself are what makes your holiday enjoyable.

Hi we went to San Antonia Bay last October during half term week about 24th. We always had to walk into San An for any meals because many of the restraunts were closed. We saw very few youngsters even as we walked through town late at night. The amusement park area was also closed down. The weather was changeable but too cold to swim in an unheated pool. There is a lovely heated swimming pool in Hotel Arenal about 500yds along the coast from san Antonia going towards the bay. Some days we sun bathed and some days we watched the thunderstorms out at sea. Even though it was very quiet we really enjoyed the extra attention we received and the rest from work was fabulous[/img]

Little Princess you will tend to find that the locals and bar staff ect.have more time for you.i enjoy going in oct.infact just booked from 8th to 22nd..i have been there on the last day.when all the workers are getting the last flight home, mayhem at airport.weather is always good when i go.most bars close in oct to save on paying taxes wages ect,but those that are open are really nice to you.cannot mention names of pubs to go in at this time of year.you really should of asked a long time ago about the clubs.but you will still enjoy yourselfs

Although the swimming pools are too cold to use at this time of year, the sea is still very warm so head to the beach for your sunbathing.

Weather reports at the moment do not seem as warm as usual for October though, still they could be wrong. Lets hope so! We are also staying at Club Paraiso although we are all in our 50's (B ut young at heart!!) Anyway I am sure we will all have a good time
