I'd second that choice, in fact I sent friends there with their bored teenagers and they said it was perfect.

It's a fairly big resort with alot going on but it's not like Magaluf, it's more family orientated, so parents will feel happier about letting the kids wander.

thanks for that, feel a bit happier now

Cala D'Or is very family orientated but there are some bars and night clubs that would be ok for 16 /17 year olds. As for the 14 year olds... not so sure.

Santa Ponsa is pretty good for families. Let's face it, todays 14 year-olds are more like the 17 year-olds of my generation and they'll find plenty to keep themselves amused. Santa Ponsa is also near to some excellent water parks, horse riding in the hills and Palma only 15 minutes drive away.

Booked myself to go to Santa Ponsa next August. My two will be 16 and 14 so I am hoping it will be good for them.

Hi Steve,

We live in Santa Ponca, my son Tom is 16 and my duaghter Harriet is 14 in November. If your kids (or any other real kids) want to ask them questions about things here send me a pm and I will pass on their email / Messenger addresses.

As GGBMallorca says don't let them miss the water parks. These are the Santa Ponca side of Magaluf - about 2 miles away. Also there is a new 'Adventure Park' in SP. This consists of a whole load of rope bridges and platforms in the trees. Harriet has been a few times. It only lasts about an hour or so but is a pretty 'cool' thing to do - apparently!!

The Western Water Park is the better water park IMO... there seemed to be a lot of people going to the Marineland near Palma Nova too...
