Can anyone shed any light on the normal Mozzie situation in crete. Hubby gets really ill if he gets bit as we well discovered in Zante. He seems to think that because it will be cooler when we go in oct that they will be worse as it's not sooo hot? Is he right??

we were in SISSI two years ago for the first weel october, the other half looked like a volcanic island i didn't get bitten once
