We did Icmeler/Bodrum/Icmeler by car on a day trip, so it can't be that far away. I certainly don't remember it taking as long as 3 hours.
Incidently, it's a much more scenic route than the Dalaman/Icmeler road and i think you will enjoy some of the views.
If you need a transfer, i suggest you contact ICR. i'm sure ali will be able to look after you.
