I remember as a tot going to Clacton for days out in Ipswich.
I remember growing up in Liverpool, fun days out at New Brighton.
I remember at 18 the first time I went abroad to Benidorm (people asking where it was because it was a new resort!!!)
I remember countless holidays abroad with our children to different places.
I remember our first trip to Turkey and falling in love with it.
I remember thinking I never want to holiday any where else
I remember my friend worrying about us when we visited Marmaris in '95 because a bomb had killed her friend.
I remember thinking they are not going to put me off.
I remember going back to Bodrum after 3 years and a waiter on the packed bar street by Helicarnos running over and hugging us (we only had 2 meals there, he even remembered the year we were there!).
I remember discovering Bitez a few years back and falling in love with it.
I remember getting out of bed at the Manuela Hotel and thinking this is paradise!!!(Spent 3 weeks there this July) 13 weeks in total.
I remember during the cold winter months, the warmth, love and friendliness of the Turkish people.
I remember thinking for years how I would love to buy property there and to come and go as I pleased... and eventually retire there.
I remember reading RedRhino12 post a while back, about "living the dream"¦" and thinking that's exactly how I felt.
I remember looking at property on the peninsula (July '06) and being over whelmed by the most beautiful sunset I had ever seen"¦ it reduced me to tears"¦ tears of happiness.
TURKEY how could we EVER FORGET YOU???!!!???

We manage a month each year, but as soon as I finish work, hope it will be 3/6 months at a time, ENJOY YOURSELF.
I remember it well
I have only been once, which was July just gone, and fell in love within 2 days with Turkey and its lovely people. I am returning to Marmaris Sept 27th for 2 weeks this time, I just cant wait.
All the years I didnt want to visit Turkey, now I look on them as lost years.

We fell in love with Turkey the first year we went and we have been going back for 3 years now, next year my Mum and Dad are going for the 4th year. There is something about Turkey, I would love to buy a place out there well...wouldn't every one
