We have stayed in this hotel and there were no facilities for hiring fridges. The rooms are air conditioned so drinks will usually be cool if you buy some chilled water and fill up a sink and leave the drinks in this.
The hotel is well situated away from the noise and within 5 minutes of the beaches although you do have around 100 steep steps to climb up and down. The main beach is about a 20 minute walk down to so you could get a taxi back. We were going to go there this year but we were told that Thomson had done away with the Kid's Club. The hotels staff are great with the kids and there is a mini dicsco on for them each night.
I'm sure you'll have a great time, we did.

have been looking at the good reports for playa park in salou can anyone please tell me where the hotel is in salou is it near the old town as reports have said its quieter there than the hussle and bussle in the main part of salou . also has anyone used girotransfers for the transfers from the airport we used theese in malgrat and found them to be very reliable and reasonable.

i think i have finally found the rigth place for us
i have been asking (bugging lol ) lots of questions about hotels i like the look of the calypso hotel but been to travel agents for our party( now the party is 12 people) the calypso could not fitt us in they are nearly fully booked
i also looked at the cala font hotel but the price that keep coming up was sky high plus i love animals but found out they allow dogs in rooms did not fancy sleeping in a bed that a dog has just been sleeping in also liked the sound of the festival village but reviews are not brill
so finally i think we have found a hotel rigth for us family age range 2 years to 60 years
it is the playa park hotel
it had some good reviews and there website looks lovely
any members stayed here what is it near to looks near the beach are there any good eating places nearby anything for kids nearby hotel shops nearby etc the rooms look ok
