Have you had forms from the CAA and completed them ?
Did you pay by Cash/Debit or Credit Card ?
Kind Regards
Stewart
Seems like quite a few people were sad to see this one close down. I'm off to Turgut next month. The hotel is definitely closed for the rest of the season but I'll ask the locals and see if there are any plans to open it again next year. Fingers crossed.
http://www.tapestyholidays.com you got the following message:

We went 3 times with them to the Pelion, arriving at Volos wont be the same next time we go without a Tapestry biscuit.
The Mulberry Tree at Turgutkoy is actually owned by a guy called Ramos who dealt with all the conracts for the hotels in Turkey on behalf of Tapestry. We stopped off their recently on a Blue Cruise Gulet holiday and it is closed for the remainder of this season. There is a new website been set up recently called "Ramos Yacthing.com". It does only show the gulets, but might be worth making contact to ask if there are any plans for next year.
I see Tapestry has now been resurrected:
I have just booked with the "new" Tapstery. I spoke to them about the operation and was told to reduce there upfront out lay they have very few reserved seats on flights or booked rooms. They now do a on demand service. So when you call them they check flight seats and then contact the hotel to see if rooms available and then get back to you to confirm booking with-in 24hrs. By doing this they have very little exposure and claim to make a profit on all holidays sold. It sounds a good market but obviously limited as each booking is tailored so to speak. The price I got on my booking turned out seveal hundred pounds cheaper that Anatolian Sky to the same hotel in Turkey and a great flight time using GBairways with 23Kg luggage+ a sports allowance if I want to use it. They are ATOL but not ABTA as they currently have no plans to sell through travel agents.
Has anyone used Tapestry this year? Am looking for gulet holiday, either small sole charter or cabin sales and almost no one is doing much this year. Tapestry used to be very good, but I'm unsure about risking again.
I've not tried the new Tapestry. You could try Excusive Escapes, an early off-shoot (before the problems) of Tapestry.
Mmm! I have - have you seen their prices. Too expensive for me I'm afraid. And have just spoken to Tapestry (who didn't return my call when they said they would). They aren't having the two smaller gulets next year and even they are sooooo expensive by the time you have added on the supplement of £300 per person and then £80 per person for certain dates.
