It's a nice way to spend the day.
Better than organised trips because it is more leisurely.
Any ideas on the prices please? 8)

As BBB says, some fishing trips can be arranged by visiting the port in Benidorm Old Town.

The advert referred to by Landlady may well be for the Benidorm Visiting Anglers Club. Organised trips include all licences, permits, tackle, bait, guides and transport. Telephone 965 878 600.

Hiya Costa Blanca forum :D

never been to mainland Spain tho' me missus and the kids have in the past, never appealed to me really, love the islands so much.

Anyyyyway, :? my youngest lad and his family will be coming with us in early June, we both love our fishing (all types) and have done a lot in the sea when abroad but we're gonna take our 9ft travel rods and would like to indulge in some coarse fishing, any info on near venues would be very appreciated.
EDIT ... merged with previous discussion, which some users may still be subscribed to as a Watched Topic.

David, why have you moved my thread to here? :? I was asking about coarse fishing which is different to sea fishing. :(

I'm not really annoyed, just confused. :D

Hi Noggs ... I merged it in the hope of picking up some replies from fishing fanatics who are already subscribed to this fishing topic. If I had left your enquiry all on its lonesome, you can be sure that our fishing expert Sanji would never have answered :wink

:hmmm Something fishy going off above, :hmmm I think there`s a catch somewhere along the line
I had a fishcake last week, :D so I guess I must be an expert :rofl
Out of interest is coarse fishing from lakes and rivers and sea fishing from the urmmm sea.?
If so, that first link has some good sites very near to Benidorm, and apparantly the Alicante fishing group is run by ex-pats.
If you're already in Benidorm, or already have your holiday booked, why not come for a day's fishing trip?

"Basic fishing tackle"
All fishing licences
Packed lunches and refreshments
Transport
ONLY 80 EUROS

got a telescopic rod and a bit of gear and was wondering if the locals fish at either end of the resort on the rocks and was it worth bringing the gear? if so any tips on tackle.

further to that, maybe does a boat trip goes out of benidorm area for some angling away from the shore and is it worth it? love to ave a day or 2 out at sea whilst on holiday.

EDIT: Merged with existing thread, which may provide some useful info
