Hi
We are thinking about booking the Terralta apartments for next August. The reviews seem excellent but I was hoping somone could give me an idea what the area would be like in August. We do not want to be in the new town, we were hoping that the poniente area may not be so rowdy but still have enough to do with two teenage girls in tow
thanks
Hi there - Terralta apartments are excellent. Up a hill from the beach and the old town - we used to walk down but take a taxi back. In a quiet area but easy enough to get to the old town from there, and I much preferred the old town area to the new - plenty to do and nice shops which appealed to my 2 girls. Don't think you could go wrong staying there, the quality of accommodation and facilities is really good.
The No 8 bus goes past the Terralta apartments too.
There is absolutely nothing around the area where the Terralta is located . However, that was absolutley fine by me!!!!
Same as Meerkat , we used to have a pleasant stroll down to the old town then taxi it back to the apartments. You can also walk into the new town, and visit the "rowdy" part of Beni, safe in the knowledge that a lovely quiet sleep awaits you at The Terralta!
The reviews for the Terralta are all excellent (I think) so they must be doing something right.
Thanks to all for your information. Hubby is now on his way to the travel agent to book the terralta apartments Our friends were so impressed they are coming too Hope they are as good as everyone says they are.
