Can anybody tell me why we have seen the fire lanterns being let off on the beaches in Cavellosim but not in the north. Have been to several of the firework nights in Candolim. For those that dont know what they are they are a sort of paper like wide tube with a wire at the bottom that holds a sort of firelighter. The tube is filled with hot air from the burning fire lighter and is released like a hot air balloon. The look very mystical and you can still see them for ages after like a star.
