If anyone has got experience of this hotel your opinion would be appreciated, as I have found some quite negative reviews on the net mainly in regards to its location and noise from local bars until the early hours.
But it looks like a slice of paridise from the brochure and the website to me.
Going in three weeks and wondering if they are making a mountain out of a molehill or do i need to bring earplugs.
I never stayed there myself but been there many times during the day and it has always been very nice an quiet. I am told that most people who stay there go to the beach for a swim but then come back to the hotel's poolside to enjoy the peace and quiet, rather than staying on at the beach.
Good choice, I hope you enjoy your holiday
My son and girlfirend come back from there today,i will get the lowdown and let you know tomorrow.

Thanks for the reply, the posts I saw stated the noise was unbearable and went on till 2 or 3 am so i was a bit worried by it.
Can,t see it being a huge problem
The Hotel looks fantastic - passed it a few times but always with the kids in tow so never went in. As you probabably know its on the beachfront with bars / restaurants either side BUT Olu is not a very noisy place after midnight and I think you will enjoy

have you tried there web site http://www.oysterresidences.com
or there email address is info@oysterresidences.com
hope this helps it is in lovely settings
My son says that the resort and staff were OK,there was a bit of noise
but it did not keep them awake at night. The main problem was the food at the resort was not that good and a bit on the expensive side, they found a resturant called the Buzz Bar where the meals were very good.
They enjoyed the shopping especially the leather goods and silver jewellrey.
All in all he had a great time,so go and enjoy yourself.
PS the Buzz Bar has its own website where you can view the menu.
Daveyboy
and a live web cam so you can see the beach
