We have now been to Tunisia twice in differant hotels. The first time successfully the second VERY disappointing.
We love Tunisia and are going back. However, we would like to go self catering and stay in Sousse center close to the beach. We visited alot while there but can only recall the vast amount of hotels.
As anyone got any advice on appartments, cost and staying for about 6 wks?

I travel to tunisia often and rent apartments out there. Try using the homelidays website. I've rented 4 apartments and all have been nice. You must join as a member (it's free) before you can contact owners. But you are free to view properties and prices without joining the site. Prices are reasonable too.

There are a few apartments in sousse. The site is updated regularly with new apartments to rent all over Tunisia.

there is a lovely lady called Janice who has apartments in sousse, oposite Dreams Beach hotel. The apartments are lovely. If you do a google search for Dreams Residence and drop her a line she will let you know how much etc. They are right on the beach and are very clean and well equipped. I have stayed there twice, once at xms and new year, and then for 3 and a half weeks in march/april when i got married there.
