Good evening lovely people of HT, I need your advice.
We'll be going on holiday as a family next year, hubby me and our baby (will be just turning one)
We're open to options to go anywhere but we want somewhere which has good SC facilities and also good supermarkets within the vicinity.
We'll eat out most nights for dinner but probably eat in for breakfast and lunch and more than likely feed our little one before we go out.
Our budget isn't to restricted and we're not to fussed about where we go. Our main restraint is flying from Glasgow.
Any ideas?
Helen
I would have thought the Costa's would have been ok for a first time trip with a baby...but if you are confident about going further, The Canary Islands are also a good bet..Tenerife would have the most options available to you.
Maybe one of the family resorts in Majorca or Ibiza might be worth a look as well Helen.
Id second Helen T's recommendations and also add on Menorca. We took our daughter to Menorca when she was 2 years old and the treatment we received was second to none.
Costa Teguise in Lanzarote is laid back and family friendly a nice square for having a drink and lots of nice restaurants.....Caz
Was going to suggest Cala Dor too.
Thanks ladies, we could probably do the canaries at a push.
For a first holiday I wouldn't fly that far.. as the others have suggested, the Costas and the Balearics will do the job... and you'll get cheaper fares, leaving you with more spending money to eat out...
I would say Menorca Looking at the number of buggies coming off our flight looks like a great place for kids
