I want to be able to travel down from the East Midlands and stay in a hotel more or less next to Heathrow, so we dont have to travel anymore. We are flying out to San francisco from Terminal 4 in June 2007. I did try the Hilton next door, but they were charging me about £150 per room, and my daughter couldnt come in with me and hubby, she would be on her own(so thats £300).
Is there any cheaper web sites for the same hotel, or is it a case i have to travel to the airport from a hotel further out.
By the way, i am coming from the East Midlands via cab.
Thank you...
Michelle.

Still no response at all from the link, so if any viewers can help me, i would appreciate it, thank you.
Hey there we stayed at the crown plaza (we went to san francisco aswell!
This hotel is really good and is very higly rated i havent found a bad review yet.
We booked through a discount website and got a deal of 80 pounds for the room and 2 weeks parking thrown in as well. cant argue with that for a 4 star hotel! Have a look here!
Hope this helps you.

I always use this website, http://www.holidayextras.co.uk they seem to have the best prices

Thank you for your kind replies, and all links. I shall have a gander at them all.............I would be driving down in a cab, so i am assuming a cab could take us from the hotel to the airport???
There is shuttle bus that runs round to all the main hotels, they charge about £3 to get to the airport. (& they run very regulary)
its usually pretty difficult yo get a taxi, as they seem to hang around the airport waiting for more expensive fares

I've stayed at the Heathrow Novotel and the rooms are quite big with a sofa bed for extra guests.
It's on the shuttle bus route and they are every 15mins.
